The Surface Water Data Viewer (SWDV) is a DNR data delivery system that provides interactive webmapping tools for a wide variety of datasets including chemistry (water, sediment), Surface Water Data book and biological (macroinvertebrate, fish) data.
Nationally, USGS surface-water data includes more thanstation years of time-series data that describe stream levels, streamflow (discharge), reservoir and lake levels, surface-water quality, and rainfall. The data are collected by automatic recorders and manual field measurements at installations across the Nation.
TCEQ continuous water quality monitoring stations, data, locations, and photos of monitoring sites. Hydrography Data and Maps. Links to the Atlas of Texas Surface Waters, data for Level 4 ecoregions, GIS data for classified segments, and other hydrology data layers for use in ArcGIS.
Welcome to the Surface Water Data Viewer (SWDV), a Wisconsin DNR data delivery system that provides interactive web mapping tools for a wide variety of datasets including chemistry (water, sediment), physical, and biological (macroinvertebrate and fish) data. Surface water is water on the surface of continents such as in a river, lake, or iniinisamoa.com can be contrasted with groundwater and atmospheric water.
Non-saline surface water uses is replenished by precipitation and by recruitment from ground-water. It is lost through evaporation, seepage into the ground where it becomes ground-water, used by plants for transpiration, extracted by mankind for. Wilde, D.B. Radtke, Jacob Gibs, and R.T. Iwatsubo: USGS—TWRI Book 9, Chapter A1. The National Field Manual for the Collection of Water-Quality Data (National Field Manual) provides guidelines and standard procedures for U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) personnel who collect data used to assess the quality of the Nation's surface-water and ground-water resources.
This chapter of the manual includes procedures for the (1). Data Collection Protocols. This document details the suite of monitoring and data collection protocols currently used by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) to meet multiple surface water characterization objectives in flowing waterbodies.
water will have to be reallocated for instream flow needs. Read more. Surface Water Quality. The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, known as the TCEQ, regularly monitors the condition of the state's surface waters and assesses the status of water quality every two years.
Daily data include approved, quality-assured data that may be published, and provisional data, whose accuracy has not been verified.

The intent of this page is to provide online access to data and maps published by the OWRB and other water related agencies.
Please note that many of these datasets are copies of production datasets and may not reflect current conditions. Surface water monitoring data are used to help identify potential contamination problems before direct evidence of impairment of water quality is available.
As part of the Surface Water Protection Program, DPR uses monitoring data from the database to identify and trace pesticides in surface water and develop contamination prevention strategies.

This table contains the most up to date criteria for aquatic life ambient water quality criteria. Aquatic life criteria for toxic chemicals are the highest concentration of specific pollutants or parameters in water that are not expected to pose a significant risk to the majority of species in a given environment or a narrative description of the desired conditions of a water body being "free.

Each one of these datasets is a hyperlink to the *.tif file. Full dataset. The Integrated Report is submitted to EPA, and is composed of the CWA Section (b) report of the water quality status of all surface waters and the Section (d) list of impaired waters.
The Pennsylvania Integrated Water Quality Monitoring and Assessment Report was approved by EPA on January 10, Data are updated monthly. WMIS The Water Management Information System (WMIS) is the District’s official database of groundwater and surface water levels, flows, water quality and atmospheric data such as rainfall, wind direction and temperature.
If surface water control structures are critical to the safe mining operation, these may have a continuous flume and data logger and will usually be inspected daily. In arid climates, surface water flow and quality monitoring may be event based with data collected during seasonal, periodic or instantaneous runoff.
Dynamic Data. Because surface water interacts with the atmosphere, groundwater, estuaries, wetlands water quality tend to be dynamic over the course of days and months. Diurnal cycles and seasonality affect the water cycle and YSI's instruments can help reliably collect these changes.
